About the role

Metroll Toowoomba is seeking a dynamic Forklift Driver/Loader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to load and unload materials, as well as assisting with general warehouse duties. This is a day shift position that will play a vital part in supporting our manufacturing and distribution operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate forklifts to load, unload and move materials, products and equipment within the warehouse and loading areas
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery trucks
  • Maintain accurate records of all loading and unloading activities
  • Perform general warehouse duties such as stock checks, housekeeping and other tasks as required
  • Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a forklift driver or in a similar warehousing/logistics role
  • Current forklift licence (essential)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
