We are seeking a reliable, confident, and commercially minded Permanent Part-Time Sales Assistant to join our Eastern Creek Quarter store. This role is a key support position to the Store Manager, ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, supporting team performance, and leading by example on the shop floor.

This position operates on a consistent Friday–Monday roster, supporting peak trade and weekend performance.

About the role

In this role, you will work closely with the Store Manager to help drive daily store performance while delivering exceptional customer service. You will act as a trusted support during peak trading periods, assisting with floor leadership and operational tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering a premium, personalised customer experience

Supporting the Store Manager with day-to-day floor leadership

Acting as a point of contact when the Manager is occupied

Driving sales through strong product knowledge and styling expertise

Supporting team members during busy trade periods

Maintaining visual merchandising and presentation standards

Assisting with stock processing, replenishment, and store operations

Leading by example to uphold M.J. Bale's brand and service standards

Skills and Experiences:

About you

You're confident on the floor, proactive, and comfortable stepping up when needed.

You will ideally have:

Previous retail experience, ideally in fashion or menswear

Strong customer engagement and communication skills

A sense of ownership and accountability

The ability to support and guide team members informally

A calm, solutions-focused approach during busy trade

High standards of personal presentation

Availability to work every Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday

This role is well suited to someone looking to develop leadership capability without moving into a full management position yet.
