Wave Systems is on the lookout for an IT Systems Engineer with strong Microsoft Azure experience and exposure to Microsoft 365 services to join our team. You'll help deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions for some of the most critical systems in the Maritime, Transport, and Logistics sectors.

We're after someone hands-on, with initiative and a collaborative mindset, someone who enjoys digging into both cloud-based and on-prem infrastructure challenges.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage and maintain Azure-hosted environments (VMs, networking, identity, storage)
  • Support and administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams & OneDrive
  • Assist clients running our solutions on their own infrastructure (hybrid or on-prem)
  • Monitor and optimise system performance across cloud and client environments
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance standards are met
  • Deploy and upgrade our WaveSCM platform across various environments
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and collaborate closely with client and internal teams
  • Respond to and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues

What You'll Bring

  • 3 plus years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure environments
  • Familiarity with Azure AD, RBAC, and identity/access management
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 services and user administration
  • Strong knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms
  • Working knowledge of networking, server, and hybrid cloud infrastructure
  • Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Clear communication and documentation habits for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Exposure to logistics, transport, or warehouse systems like TMS or depot software is advantageous
