The Role – Immediate Responsibilities
Communication & Lead Management
- Manage phone lines and act as the first point of contact.
- Handle customer service and sales enquiries (phone/email) with professionalism.
- Qualify incoming leads and pass them to the relevant team members.
- Maintain timely responses and follow-ups with all customer and consignor leads.
Sales & Stock Management
- Assist with stock management, including inventory updates
- Create and maintain product listings for Ensleigh Coins.
- Manage the Ensleigh Coins eBay store, including listing and responding to buyers.
- Support collection purchasing logistics, including local pickups.
- Assist with packaging and processing outgoing orders
General Administration
- Maintain organised records of enquiries, leads, stock, and transactions.
- Provide administrative support to the broader team.
- Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency across both businesses.
- Contribute to operations and auction production for our sister company, Copeland Roberts, as and when needed.
Future Growth – Where This Role Leads
This is
not just an admin role
. The successful candidate will:
- Year 1:
Learn and support all core functions (admin, customer service, listings, stock management). - Year 2:
Take ownership of Ensleigh Coins' day-to-day operations (customer support, inventory, listings, logistics). - Year 3+:
Progress into
Operations Manager
at Ensleigh Coins, with autonomy in running the business's daily functions, freeing leadership to focus on strategy and growth.
Skills & Experience
- Current driver's licence for collection pickups.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Prior experience in customer service, administration, or sales support (desirable, not essential).
- Proficiency in email management, online sales platforms (Shopify, eBay experience highly regarded), and Google/Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work independently, show initiative, and problem-solve.
- Interest in coins, collectibles, or auctions (a plus, but not required).
Salary & Development
- Starting salary:
A$70,000 per year + superannuation. - Company-covered travel expenses for collection pickups.
- Optional weekend trade show work (flat rate A$325/day).
- Opportunities to attend trade shows and coin fairs, representing the business.
- Full training provided across all aspects of the role.
