About us: One of South Australia's largest commercial building companies, delivering a variety of commercial projects across the state in remote, regional, and metropolitan areas.

About the Role:

We are recruiting for a Site Services Engineer on behalf of a well-known, large commercial building company based solely in South Australia. This role focuses on managing engineering installations, commissioning, and ensuring all technical components are delivered in compliance with project requirements. You will work closely with the project team throughout the preconstruction, construction, and commissioning phases, ensuring the timely delivery of all services and engineering components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the best interests of the client in all dealings with external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate investigative works and support the project team in planning engineering works.
  • Manage commissioning activities, including the preparation of commissioning plans and monitoring project deliverables.
  • Ensure all engineering documentation (shop drawings, test reports, technical data) is completed accurately and on time.
  • Liaise with consultants, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely, compliant project delivery.
  • Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements.
  • Lead onsite and offsite engineering activities through to the final certificate of completion.
  • Contribute to the preparation of progress and management reports.
  • Ensure all documentation, such as O&M manuals, is delivered to the client post-project completion.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager/Project Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Highly organized, with effective time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
