IT Technician Traineeship

We are seeking a full-time entry level IT Trainee, to join our team and endeavor on our Information Technology Traineeship.

The Position:

• We are looking for candidates who have NOT completed any Certificate IV or above qualifications
• Desktop Support - Field Services support role
• This role will involve daily travel
• You MUST have a driver's license and full-time access to a reliable car
• You will provide onsite, face to face technical support with a client base made up of Principals, Teachers and Business leaders
• You'll be experiencing different environments, different people, and different challenges, week to week.
• As an IT trainee, your tasks will include (but not be limited to):
• Maintaining equipment such as computers, laptops, printers, Etc
• Ability to address and resolve arising issues in a timely manner
• Liaising with vendors/suppliers to report faults and organise repairs and replacements
• Engaging with third party vendors to resolve technical problems
• Keeping track of equipment/asset management
• Performing hardware and software upgrades
• Creating and maintaining logs of ongoing and completed tasks
• Running company related errands such as:
• Pickups
• Drop-offs
• Deliveries

Essential Requirements:

• You MUST have a current driver's license and full-time access to a reliable car
• Only applicants with Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident will be considered for this position
• Please note we are only seeking applicants with fluent English communication and strong client relation skills
• It is essential that you are a clear communicator with an excellent customer service approach
• Some experience in IT will be highly regarded but not mandatory
• Experience with IT customer Service will be highly regarded but not mandatory
• A "Working With Children Check" screening will need to be conducted. There is an $80.00 fee, but this is only required for the successful applicant.
