The Opportunity:

We're building the most advanced estimating system in Australian residential renovations — and we're hiring a senior estimator / QS to take it to the next level.

This is a rare opportunity for someone who's ready to move beyond static spreadsheets and generic quoting workflows — and take ownership of a live design-integrated pricing system that already powers real projects.

You'll lead the backend logic that determines how we price high-variation residential projects — refining every rule, labour hour, and material formula so we quote smarter, build better, and scale faster.

Compensation Package:

Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 + super

Performance Bonus: Up to $100,000 annually

(Paid quarterly based on system accuracy, BOQ delivery, and project margin performance)

Total OTE: $220,000

Setup: High-spec laptop, software access, and automation tools

Support: Direct access to in-house design, drafting, construction, and automation teams

Location: Perth, WA preferred (relocation support available)

What you'll do:

Refine our estimating engine, ensuring every BOQ is accurate, buildable, and margin-protected

Work cross-functionally with architects, engineers, and site teams to align design, scope, and pricing

Incorporate real site data to continuously improve labour formulas and material usage assumptions

Support automation by structuring outputs that can flow into POs, schedules, and supply chain integrations

Who This Is Perfect For:

This is for a system-savvy estimator or QS who's ready to lead — not follow.

5+ years in residential construction estimating (renovations/extensions preferred, but not essential)

Strong BOQ and cost logic experience across custom or high-variation projects

Confident working with design teams, reading plans, and suggesting value-engineered alternatives

Passionate about systemising pricing: you've built templates, tools, or quoting engines before

Comfortable in spreadsheets and estimation software — but always thinking "how can this be better?"

Excited by performance-based pay and ownership of a live estimating system
