We are currently seeking experienced Civil Trades Assistants for ongoing work in the North West Pilbara Region on casual and fixed term contracts with attractive rates. Working Holiday Visa holders with eligible work rights can also apply.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with well-established industry leaders. You will be working with other highly skilled workers, which in turn will enable you to become a crucial part of the team. The roster will be 2 weeks on, 1 week off, starting September 2025.

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

  • Experience in the construction/mining industry
  • Current HR Driver's License as a minimum
  • Construction White Card
  • Operate heavy equipment safely across the worksite whilst coordinating with other trades
  • Inspect and perform thorough pre-start inspections and accurately complete daily log book
  • Ability to pass ongoing random drug and alcohol testing
  • Follow Work Health Safety, Environment and Quality Policies and Procedures
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise
  • Strong communications skills
  • Must be committed with an excellent work ethic
  • Positive attitude with an eye for detail

  • HC/MC license
  • Rio Tinto Iron Ore Essentials/Perth Regional Hub Essentials
  • Rio Tinto Lock holders
  • Rio Tinto Personal Isolation
  • Rail Safeworking M1 card
  • Dogging & Rigging Certifications
