Senior Accountant, Public Practice

$130K + Super + Bonus | WFH | Central Office | Leadership Role

Catalyst Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for a standout Senior Accountant on behalf of a progressive, high-performing public practice firm that's shaking up the accounting space. This is not your average accounting role it's strategic, people-focused, and built for a leader who's ready to make real impact.

We're looking for someone technically sharp, commercially savvy, and emotionally intelligent, someone who can lead a team, grow a client portfolio, and help shape the future direction of the firm.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Manage and grow your own pod of high-calibre service business clients (typically \$1M+)
  • Lead advisory work: budgeting, forecasting, valuations, and strategic planning
  • Build strong client relationships with proactive, high-value communication
  • Mentor and review a small team, drive performance and accountability
  • Sit on the leadership team, contributing to firm-wide strategy
  • Deliver high quality, timely outcomes across compliance and advisory

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum 2+ years' public practice experience
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Clear, confident communication and a passion for helping businesses grow
