What You'll Do

This is a part-time position, 0.80 FTE - equivalent to 60.80 hours per fortnight.

The specific work schedule will be discussed and agreed upon with the successful candidate.

As a Job Coachin the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program, you'll play a key role in helping participants overcome barriers and prepare for meaningful employment. You'll deliver tailored, person-centred support that builds confidence, enhances employability, and connects people to sustainable job opportunities. This is your chance to make a real impact - guiding individuals with disability, injury, or health conditions toward brighter futures through compassionate coaching and practical action.

  • Coach Potential: Support participants with resumes, job applications, interview preparation, and group workshops to build confidence and employability.
  • Create Pathways:Identify barriers with care and insight, connecting participants to services that support their employment goals and personal growth.
  • Engage Employers: Reverse market participants and build strong employer relationships to uncover meaningful job opportunities.
  • Caseload Management:Manage participant caseloads with care and efficiency, ensuring tailored support throughout the employment journey - including smooth internal handovers to post-placement support teams.
  • Program Compliance:Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance standards to support high-quality contract-aligned outcomes and performance goals.

This role operates within the Bayside Employment Services Area (ESA), covering Dandenong, Chadstone, Cheltenham, and Nunawading, with outreach services extending to Kew.

What You Bring

  • Relevant Background:A Certificate or Diploma in Community or Employment Services (or related field) or lived experience navigating support systems to achieve education or employment outcomes is highly regarded.
  • Empathetic Coaching: Apply a strengths-based, emotionally intelligent approach to guide participants toward employment.
  • Relationship Building: Skilled in developing trust-based connections and adapting communication styles with empathy and professionalism.
  • Tech Savvy: Confident with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and digital tools.
  • Pre-Requisites: Full eligibility to work in Australia, with the ability to travel locally and obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
