My Botanical Dispensary is a pioneer in functional and metabolic medicine, uniting a Compounding Lab, Medicinal Cannabis Dispensary, Integrative Medical Clinic and Café under one roof. Located on Brisbane's renowned Wickham Terrace, we deliver innovative, patient-centred care supported by a passionate multidisciplinary team.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Dispensary Technician to join our growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic environment that values precision, innovation, and integrative health.

About the Role

As a Dispensary Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our dispensary operations, with a focus on compounding and medicinal cannabis dispensing. This is a fast-paced and varied position that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to patient care and workflow management.

We are in a period of growth, and looking for staff that are open to learning other areas of our unique pharmacy. This may mean that you learn medical reception duties, how to make coffee in front of house, how to stocktake in the pharmacy or be trained to work in our compounding lab. We are looking for the right people for our team

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions, including compounded and medicinal cannabis medications
• Manage and maintain accurate patient records and orders through our digital portal
• Coordinate stock input, stock control, and logistics (including dispatch via StarTrack)
• Assist with audits, compliance reports, and monthly reviews
• Support daily pharmacy operations using our integrated ordering and payment systems
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, efficient, and compliant work environment

About You

You are a dedicated pharmacy professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. You bring both technical expertise and a customer-focused mindset to your work. We are open to Full time and Part time applicants to find the right people.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Qualification as a Pharmacy Technician (or equivalent)
• Experience in a Medicinal Cannabis or Compounding Pharmacy would be ideal but not necessary – we will train the right person
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A professional and proactive approach to learning and adapting in a fast-paced environment
• A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
