The Role

Senior GRC Consultant – Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne preferred.

Functioning as a trusted advisor, you will provide expert advice and guidance to clients with respect to their security strategies. You will analyse and solve complex problems across a variety of clients and industry sectors offering pragmatic solutions and recommendations tailored to our clients. Working alongside our experienced team you will deliver security assurance work including cyber security and maturity assessments; policy and operating model development; and security program advisory.

About you:

• You have at least 3 years of experience in information security consulting, providing advice to executive stakeholders and aligning information security risks to business requirements.

• You have knowledge and experience in the application of common security frameworks and standards such as ISO27001, ISM, PSPF, NIST CSF and the Essential Eight

• You must have experience in assessing systems and organisations, including developing reports and artefacts such as Security Assessment Reports, System Security Plans and Risk Assessments.

• You must be an Australian Citizen and hold a current AGSVA security clearance, ideally at Negative Vetting 1 (NV1).

• You are capable of working autonomously and collaboratively with a team both in-person and remotely

• You can analyse, distil and communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences including technical and non-technical stakeholders

• You are masterful at building and maintaining relationships with high values clients and stakeholders

• You enjoy mentoring and inspiring others

• You uphold the values of quality, integrity and professionalism in the work you do.

Desirable:

• You have experience working with federal or state Government entities.

• You may hold qualifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, ISO 27001:2022 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CISM or IRAP

• You may hold certifications or qualifications which complement your non-technical expertise such as Microsoft Azure, M365, AWS, GCP or other vendors, giving you a technical foundation.

• You have experience analysing and assessing a variety of systems including cloud-based, hybrid and on-premises systems across a range of security classifications
