Overview – The Role
The role will work with the Development Manager and Project Manager in the delivery of development projects from inception through to construction. The role will provide both administrative and project assistant support across a range of industrial, hospitality, residential and commercial projects.
Day-to-day you will coordinate and monitor project related activities including the creation of reports, scheduling meetings, creation of meeting agendas and minutes. You will also be a key point of contact for consultants, contractors and other key stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist with updating, monitoring and reporting on project budgets and related forecasts and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Review and report on project progress.
- Attend various project meetings including the preparation of agendas and recording of meeting minutes.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, and project team members.
- Arrange meetings with an array of stakeholders, the project team and design team partners.
- Liaise with Government bodies to obtain the permits and approvals required to ensure compliance with regulations.

- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management and communications skills.
- Confident to work independently to achieve outcomes.
- Advanced level administrative skills, including the use of Microsoft Office with Microsoft excel.
- An understanding of contract administration is highly desirable.
- Experience working in or an understanding of construction and/or development desirable.
- Visit project sites across the Newcastle region as required
- Drivers license and own vehicle is required.
