Child Care Worker – Full-Time Opportunity

Acknowledged for providing high quality care and education (including with an amazing Bush Kindy program) Prior Street Child Care & Development has established itself within the community as a dedicated learning environment.

  • An 75 place centre (5 rooms - babies through to an Approved Kindergarten Program)
  • Purpose built centre, well resourced rooms and beautiful outdoor spaces
  • Our Cook is on site preparing meals

About the Role:

  • Full-time position with a rotating 4-week roster—enjoy a mix of early and late starts
  • Lead and inspire in a dynamic, engaging learning environment.
  • Support and champion our Bush Kindy and sustainability programs.
  • Collaborate with a strong leadership team including the Educational Leader, Nominated Supervisor, and fellow educators.
  • Be part of a centre that values innovation, creativity, and child-led learning.
  • A commitment to child wellbeing, family engagement, and community connection.

What You Bring:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or ECT qualification (or working towards).
  • At least 2 years experience as a child care worker in long day care, including assisting with programming and setting up stimulating learning environments.
  • A current Blue Card, First Aid, and recent training in child protection and safety.
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
