About the role

We are seeking system design analysts with experience in ICT infrastructure and/or network domains to work with our multidisciplinary teams, to support the delivery of complex ICT infrastructure projects in Commonwealth delivery environments. This role is based in the ACT and is a junior to mid-level role.

This role would be ideal for people with experience in the design, delivery or maintenance of ICT infrastructure (e.g. server rooms and data centres), that have an interest in pursuing a career in ICT project management, technical business analysis, and/or solution architecture.

The role requires you to:

• Work as part of delivery team to provide a high-quality service to our clients.
• In alignment with client patterns, prepare design artefacts for ICT infrastructure and network deliverables, such as room layouts, network diagrams, ICT rack configuration plans, and other associated technical design documentation.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as in coordination with multiple ICT and property projects.
• Work in a structured and plan driven project delivery environment.
• Engage positively and professionally with relevant stakeholders and SMEs to gather input information to assist in the preparation of technical design documentation.

About you

We are looking for energetic, proactive and adaptable people who have experience in the design, delivery and/or maintenance of ICT infrastructure and networks; and who bring strong written and visual communication and drawn design skills.

This is a junior to mid-level role that is intended for people who want to be a part of an established and specialised consulting firm and who will enjoy proactive support and mentoring to progress towards their career goals.

You must enjoy working within multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of complex business and digital transformation initiatives for our clients.

The following skills and experience are essential to succeed in this role:

• Experience with ICT infrastructure and/or network design, implementation and/or maintenance.
• Strong written and visual communication skills, with experience preparing or contributing to technical designs, diagrams and specifications.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, and comfort in engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver high-quality work.
• Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage competing tasks.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Current AGSVA Baseline (and ability to obtain NV1) or NV1 Security Clearance, and Australian work rights.

The following skills and experience are highly desirable:

• Academic experience relevant to ICT, project/program management, and/or business analysis.
• Previous work experience in the design or delivery of ICT infrastructure or network deliverables (e.g. server rooms, data centres, telephony and EUC rollout).
• Previous experience working within Commonwealth delivery environments, or an understanding of Commonwealth security policies including the PSPF and ISM.
• Experience with technical drafting software (e.g. AutoCAD and Visio).
