Job description

PANSA is delivering a three-year program, funded by the Australian Government's Play Our Way, to break down barriers to sport participation for multicultural females. We are looking to hire 2x new Peer Leaders, who will support and guide participants from culturally diverse backgrounds, working with a passionate team to deliver safe, engaging, and inclusive sport sessions. You'll be responsible for planning, mentoring, and assisting in the delivery of programs, with a focus on female sport inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging sport and recreational activities.
  • Mentor participants and ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Support with program administration and customer service.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Uphold PANSA's mission, vision, and values while promoting a positive, safe environment.

About You

You have experience working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities and are passionate about empowering multicultural women through sport. You possess strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams. Ideally, you have a Certificate III or higher in sports, recreation, or a related field and hold or are willing to obtain necessary certifications, such as First Aid and Working with Children. A current driver's license is required.
