We are seeking
Senior Data Operations Engineers
to join our client.

This role sits within the data operations team and will focus on supporting and maintaining critical data assets across the Cloud Data Lake, Cloud EDW, Legacy EDW, and SAS analytics platform.

The position is hands-on and operational in nature, best suited to someone with strong BAU support experience who can manage daily data processes, ensure SLA compliance, and provide Level 2/3 technical support across multiple data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2/3 operational support for AWS, Control-M, Teradata (legacy EDW), Snowflake, and ETL tool-based integration solutions.
  • Support and maintain data pipelines, SQL code, ETL processes, and system documentation.
  • Monitor and orchestrate workflows via Control-M or similar scheduling applications.
  • Collaborate with data consumers, developers, testers, and IT support teams.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Strong proficiency in AWS Cloud services (Glue, S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS).
  • Hands-on experience with data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks.
  • Solid experience working with Snowflake (Cloud EDW) and Teradata (On-Prem EDW).
  • Proficiency in Python (preferred) and strong SQL skills.
  • Background in Control-M orchestration/monitoring or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in BAU environments, delivering consistent operational support.

Location
: NSW or VIC

Contract Duration:
12 months with extensions

Daily Rate:
Approx. $800-850/day (negotiable based on experience and skills)
