Position Title: Senior Business and Technical Speclaist Classification: HS6 Salary per fortnight (exc. super): $4, over award available) Hours per fortnight: 76 or 80 hours (including an ADO every 4 weeks) Employment Status: Ongoing Full Time

The Position

The Senior Business and Technical Specialist reports to the Director Clinical Information Systems and works directly with the broader business to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. They are responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of existing IT solutions, such as Kofax and the Digital Medical Record (DMR), including interfaces, work packages and specifications whilst advocating for end-user requirements and optimisation.

In addition to this, the position will be required to analyse business requirements, design and implement IT solutions, and manage projects to ensure alignment with business

As well as responsibility for the mainstream ICT services and support the division encompasses Information Technology Services, Architecture and Applications, Clinical Information Systems , and Virtual Care Office.

The Division leverages ICT technologies and expertise to provide the technical foundations for innovation and transformation of our clinical service delivery The Division is instrumental in building a strong culture of utilising health informatics and using data to drive innovation.
