Customer Service Officer – Parramatta

Location: Parramatta, NSW

Salary: $63,000 + superannuation

Purpose of the Role

BGIS is seeking a professional and adaptable Customer Service Officer to provide high-quality client support at a major justice precinct. Reporting to the Operations Centre Asset Compliance Team Leader on-site, you will manage incoming requests, coordinate with Facilities Managers and contractors, and ensure accurate, timely communication.

The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and confident navigating challenging stakeholder environments, while fostering collaboration and excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

Answer client calls and inquiries promptly and professionally

  • Log, track, and manage service requests in the CMMS system
  • Coordinate with Facilities Managers and contractors to resolve issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and client communications
  • Support a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to OHS&E requirements
  • Contribute to process improvements and ensure client satisfaction

Education, Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service Centre or similar environment
  • English Proficiency: CEFR level B2 or above
  • Experience with CMMS systems
  • Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Professional telephone manner and ability to manage multiple requests
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team while managing demanding client interactions

Desirable:

  • Certificate IV in Customer Service
  • Experience dispatching work in a Facilities Management or trade environment

Workplace Flexibility

This role is based at the Parramatta site with hybrid flexibility – 3 days on-site, 2 days WFH. Core hours have a shift time available between 7:00am and 6:00pm with occasional variation as required.
