The role: where leadership meets community

In this role, you'll:

  • Oversee the daily operations of Lourdes Village, ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and proud to call it home.
  • Support the community through a period of change with clear communication, guidance, and reassurance.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with residents, committees, families, contractors, and the local community.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance to keep the village sustainable and thriving.
  • Champion compliance, safety, and wellbeing, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
  • Lead, inspire, and develop your team to provide exceptional service and care.

About you

You're a natural leader who thrives on building relationships and creating meaningful experiences. You'll bring:

  • Experience in retirement living, property/facility management, hospitality, or a related service industry.
  • Strong people leadership skills with a focus on empathy, resilience, and communication.
  • Solid knowledge of budget management, compliance, and work health & safety.
  • Confidence with technology and systems to support daily operations and reporting.
  • A genuine passion for helping people live well, with the ability to balance resident needs and business goals.
  • Proven ability to guide others through change while keeping the community at the centre of decision-making.
