Now, we're looking for a talented pastry chef to help shape and elevate our dessert offering.


YOUR ROLE

We're seeking a skilled, creative, and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team full-time. This is an opportunity to influence a modern dessert program and work in one of Melbourne's most picturesque hospitality settings.

You will:

  • Create, develop and execute restaurant-quality desserts that complement our Southern Californian menu
  • Produce high-quality celebration cakes for birthdays and events
  • Work daytime-only shifts — early starts, early finishes, great work-life balance
  • Maintain excellent standards of preparation, presentation and consistency
  • Collaborate closely with the kitchen team and contribute to a positive, supportive culture
  • Assist with training and mentoring junior staff
  • Manage your section efficiently under pressure while keeping a high level of organisation

THE MUST-HAVES

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of pastry methods, tools, and processes
  • Certificate III in Culinary Arts
