Perched high above South Yarra on Level 24, Beverly brings an elevated slice of Southern California to the heart of Melbourne. Our open-air restaurant and bar delivers fresh, vibrant, Californian-inspired cuisine surrounded by panoramic views of the city skyline.
Now, we're looking for a talented pastry chef to help shape and elevate our dessert offering.
YOUR ROLE
We're seeking a skilled, creative, and experienced Pastry Chef to join our culinary team full-time. This is an opportunity to influence a modern dessert program and work in one of Melbourne's most picturesque hospitality settings.
You will:
- Create, develop and execute restaurant-quality desserts that complement our Southern Californian menu
- Produce high-quality celebration cakes for birthdays and events
- Work daytime-only shifts — early starts, early finishes, great work-life balance
- Maintain excellent standards of preparation, presentation and consistency
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen team and contribute to a positive, supportive culture
- Assist with training and mentoring junior staff
- Manage your section efficiently under pressure while keeping a high level of organisation
ABOUT YOU
You are someone who is proud of their craft and loves working with premium ingredients to create memorable desserts.
You're a great fit if you:
- Have 5+ years' proven experience in a pastry chef role

THE MUST-HAVES
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for pastry and hospitality
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of pastry methods, tools, and processes
- Certificate III in Culinary Arts
