The Company
The Australian Meat Processor Corporation (AMPC) is the rural research & development corporation (RDC) for the red meat processing sector. As the research, development and marketing service provider for Australian processors, they run programs of activity that are funded by processor levy payers, private contributions and the Australian Government.
Their purpose is to enable Australia to build the most competitive, profitable and sustainable red meat processing industry. Their mission is to drive world class innovation, adoption and strategic policy development through genuine partnerships built on trust.
The Position
The Marketing & Stakeholder Engagement Manager is a hands-on yet strategic leadership role, responsible for driving the More to Meat initiative ) with the aim of promoting the industry's significant employment opportunities and economic contributions while showcasing industry excellence, innovation, sustainability and global competitiveness. In this role, you will design and oversee the campaigns, working closely with internal staff, processors and contractors to create and deliver engaging content and activities that connect with target audiences.
This role works closely with AMPC's research, communications, and government and industry team to bring industry stories to life across social media, local communities, and industry networks.
Overarching for this role is the opportunity to play a significant part in influencing a positive footprint of red meat in Australia by identifying opportunities that align with AMPC's strategic plan and highlight the many positive stories that show there is more to meat.

The role calls for a dynamic individual with high energy and rewards you with an outstanding opportunity to be a vital part of the red meat processing sector in Australia and make a genuine impact.
We are keen for to hear from you if you have:
- proven experience in leading end-to-end marketing campaigns, including strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and content creation, with exceptional written communication skills
- strong project management skills, including working with internal stakeholders, contractors and multiple timelines
- solid ability to plan, create, manage, and write effective social media and digital content, with in-depth knowledge of LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with a wide variety of stakeholders from processors and local communities to researchers, media, contractors, and industry partners
- a background or strong interest in agriculture, food production, or the red meat industry
- An instinct for storytelling, able to craft and guide stories that connect with the broader public and industry stakeholders, supported by impactful visual content
You most likely come from an agricultural background, communications, campaign management or marketing, with a career focused on developing engaging content and campaigns that resonate with diverse audience
You will be a key member of the AMPC team focusing specifically on the 'More to Meat' program to maximise its inputs and effectiveness.
