The role
Our Project Officer role provides high-level administrative and secretarial support to the State Rezoning executive leaders and staff in delivering their projects.
Reporting to the Executive Planning Officer, you will manage a diverse range of ministerial and departmental tasks in a high-pressure environment with competing priorities and tight timeframes. Sourcing information quickly and adapting technical information into appropriate and easy to understand language to match stakeholder needs is a key skill you will rely on daily.
You will liaise with the Office of the Secretary, Office of the Deputy Secretary, the Minister's Office and other key stakeholders while coordinating requests to keep them informed on State Rezoning projects as well as offer practical solutions to emerging issues.
While you will be supported in our close-knit executive office as well as our extensive internal support staff network, you will be encouraged to share as well as test your ideas on ways our area can improve processes, use technology and strengthen our ways of working.
