Boutique, modern Xero accounting firm led by a sole practitioner who has extensive  experience including time spent in mid-tier firms. With $2million in fees this busy practice has a great range of clients across all industries and includes large groups that will give you the opportunity to enhance your tax skills.

YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for:

Compliance Work:

  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
  • Managing Division 7A and Capital Gains Tax (CGT),
  • Completing BAS & IAS, FBT, and Payroll Tax obligations.

Advisory Work:

  • Providing tax planning advice.
  • Assisting with new business entity setups and restructuring.
  • Working with the principal to assist clients with succession planning.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining client relationships over time through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Liaising with the ATO and other 3rd parties as required.

YOU

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Several years of public practice experience.
  • A strong work ethic and a drive to succeed.
  • An interest in helping small business.
