Join a team of hospitality experts and coordinate and oversee some of the biggest touring Festivals, Concerts and Events for the ever-expanding Comiskey Group.  Eatons Hill Hotel is an Australian award-winning entertainment precinct providing a multi-level Grand Ballroom with a capacity of 2,200 and an additional outdoor venue hosting up to 8,000 festival and event attendees.

In addition, this newly created position will play a leading role in the coordination, set up and execution of our inhouse annual events such as Rodeo, Brisbane Beerfest & Samford Long Lunch.

Essentially, you will be staging large scale events, with the opportunity to learn and grow within a team of experienced professionals.  Further training alongside Comiskey Group event specialists Sandstone Point Hotel won't be just available, it will be encouraged.

Eatons Hill Hotel has played host to artists such as Prince, Ice Cube, Good Charlotte, The Roots, Post Malone, Electric Callboy, Marilyn Manson, Icehouse, James Reyne, Noiseworks, Tex Perkins & Ugly Kid Joe just to name a few.

The Role:

We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Events Operations Manager to lead the Events team at Eatons Hill Hotel If you are a leader, have a passion for Entertainment and Hospitality and are a natural for creating unforgettable large scale customer experiences, we want you to join our team.

You will report directly to the General Manager & Venue Manager, working alongside an ambitious team who are all about crafting extraordinary experiences for our customers. This role will oversee our all-major touring clients and other large scale events held at the precinct, both indoors and outdoors. The successful applicant will craft memorable moments while building strong relationships with everyone who walks through our doors.

The right applicant will bring attention to detail to the set up, execution and pack down of  events and then provide critical analysis and review of the Event, allowing the business to continually improve and grow.

About You:

You will lead our amazing team of collaborators to elevate our business and guest's experience to ensure we are always the venue of choice.

Your skills & experience will ideally include;

· Proven experience managing a team in a similar environment.

· Proven experience liaising with Promoters and Event Partners.

· Proven ability to manage costs meeting business budgets.

· Ability to lead a team to deliver a high level of service with positive outcomes.

· The ability to work within a team environment where attention to detail is essential.

· A current RMLV certificate.

· Superb time management and organisation skills - you are a master of prioritisation.
