Junior Graphic Designer

The Opportunity

Findex is currently seeking a Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Marketing team. This is an initial 12 month contract, with the flexibility to be based anywhere in Australia for the right person.

In this role, you'll support the design and production of visual assets that bring our brand to life across digital and print channels. Working closely with our Brand Lead, Graphic Designers, and broader Marketing team, you'll help ensure our visual communications are engaging, consistent, and aligned with our brand identity.

This is a hands-on creative role suited to someone who is passionate about design, a storyteller and eager to build their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll contribute to a wide range of projects, from social media graphics and marketing collateral to presentations and digital communications, always with a focus on quality and attention to detail, and a curious mindset about the impact of your designs to uncover what drives engagement and conversion.

What will your typical week look like? 

• Design and produce visual assets for digital and print channels, including social media, web, email, presentations, advertising, brochures and events. 
• Apply and uphold brand guidelines to ensure a consistent look and feel across all materials
• Work with the Brand Lead to refine layouts to contribute to the continual improvement of the brands client experience through designed material
• Partner with the wider Marketing team to deliver creatives for go to market campaigns, and design support for sales teams
• Leverage AI tools to streamline creative workflows and enhance design efficiency.

Let's talk about you 

The successful person will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
• Proven working experience in a Design role (agency, in-house or freelance)
• Experienced in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop) and Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word)
• Understanding of preparing files for print and digital channels
• Strong understanding of design principles including layout, colour, typography, and composition
• Exceptional communications skills and an ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with various stakeholders
