About the role

Join our dynamic team of New and Used Car Salespeople at one of the largest privately owned automotive groups in Canberra.

As a full-time Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales of both new and pre-owned vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your sales expertise and passion for the automotive industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and match them with the right vehicle
  • Demonstrate vehicles and highlight their features and benefits to prospective customers
  • Negotiate sales terms and close deals in a professional and ethical manner
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of our product range, pricing, and promotions
  • Collaborate with the wider team to achieve individual and store-wide sales targets
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Negotiation and closing skills with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent product knowledge and a keen interest in the automotive industry
  • A positive, customer-centric attitude and the ability to work well in a team
  • A valid driver's licence and the ability to demonstrate vehicles
  • This position requires you to work Monaday - Saturday with a roster day off every 11 working days.
