We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at Mosman Park & Freshwater Aged Care Homes on a full-time basis.

About the role

Reporting to our Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for minor carpentry, plumbing and electrical maintenance support across the home, all the while providing our residents and their families with respectful and efficient customer service.

Your technical ability, attention to detail and problem-solving skills are easily demonstrated when completing timely, safe and compliant maintenance tasks, as well as when providing relationship-centred support that ensures the dignity and respect of our residents.

What you'll bring

Before you can be considered for this role, we'll need make sure you possess the following:

  • Formal trade qualification or practical work experience, demonstrating basic trade skills.
  • Proven "hands-on" experience in service-based industry (preferably aged care sector)
  • WA Driver's License
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Evidence of Influenza vaccination
  • Full working rights in Australia
