Leederville, Western Australia Profresh Flowers Full time $40,000 - $60,000 per year

About Us

At Profresh, we're all about helping floral businesses flourish. From our roots in a single flower van to a team of 50+ supporting WA's floral trade, we've built a reputation for premium products, reliable service, and a genuine love for what we do. You'll join a supportive, close-knit team that values creativity, collaboration, and community.

Our clients are florists, stylists, and creative professionals who trust us to deliver not just great product, but great partnership.

The Role

We're looking for a proactive, detail-driven Purchasing & Inventory Assistant to keep stock flowing and customers happy. You'll support our Purchasing team by raising and maintaining purchase orders, liaising with suppliers to confirm quantities and pricing, and and helping keep inventory accurate in our ERP. You'll work closely with Sales and Warehouse to solve problems fast and keep the week moving.

Note on onboarding: You'll also spend time in the showroom and warehouse as part of your training. This hands-on experience is key to learning our product, understanding customer preferences, and setting you up for long-term success.

About You

You are proactive, reliable and detail-minded. You take pride in accurate work, clear updates, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You follow through on POs, communicate clearly with suppliers and team members, and stay calm when things get busy. You're a friendly team player who collaborates smoothly with Sales and Warehouse to solve problems, not just spot them.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage key supplier portfolios: Raise and maintain purchase orders, keep weekly buying moving, and build friendly, long-term relationships within your supplier set.
  • Internal product & sourcing support: Be the go-to for product questions; advise on availability, suggest smart substitutes, and action sourcing requests. Escalate early and keep updates clear for the team and customers.
  • Keep our records clean: Update product and pricing information daily, keeping data tidy and accurate in our ERP and shared trackers.
  • Inventory support: Run cycle counts, capture and resolve variances, support weekly fresh stocktake preparation, and help improve our inventory processes.
  • Follow simple rhythms & checklists: Bring structure to busy weeks, ask smart questions, and keep everyone in the loop.
  • Resolve Issues Gracefully: Act quickly and communicate clearly to solve problems in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Support Improvement: Help the Purchasing team track simple performance metrics and spot opportunities to make things work better.

Who You Are

  • Clear and confident communicator: You're warm, responsive, and reliable. You keep teammates and suppliers in the loop.
  • Organised and dependable: Accuracy is your default and deadlines get met
  • Calm under pressure: Proactive, composed, and focused on practical solutions.
  • Confident with spreadsheets/ERPs: Technically capable and keen to learn our systems and product range.
  • Team-first problem solver: You're a team player with a solutions focused mindset.
  • Floristry experience is a bonus, not essential — we'll support your learning if you bring the right mindset.

Why Join Profresh?

  • A meaningful role where your contribution really matters.
  • A supportive, close-knit team.
  • Exposure to a dynamic and creative industry.
  • Staff discounts, and access to our Employee Assistance Program.
  • Career growth opportunities within a fast-evolving business.

Ready to Grow With Us?

If you're excited to support WA's floral community and help keep our floral supply chain humming, we'd love to hear from you.
