P&C and Facilities Coordinator

We're looking for a part-time (0.5) People
& Culture and Facilities Coordinator to support and deliver key people and
talent initiatives, while also managing the day-to-day operations of our
office. This is a rare opportunity to combine people-focused work with hands-on
facilities coordination, giving you the best of both worlds across P&C and
Facilities.

What you will bring
- Previous experience in a similar role or a
relevant tertiary degree or qualification in business or Human Resources. - Great interpersonal skills including an
ability to develop key relationships. - An ability to communicate and articulate
yourself well. - Strong attention to detail and organisational
skills. - Confident with modern technology, including
Microsoft Office software and quick to learn new systems. - Confidentiality and discretion when handling
employee information and sensitive matters. - Customer service mindset with a focus on
supporting employees and creating a positive workplace experience. - You get stuff done and like being part of a
team.
Some tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Support hiring managers with the recruitment process and
life-cycle, including sourcing and selection processes. - Support delivery of key talent processes, including talent and
performance reviews. - Deliver effective and engaging onboarding (and offboarding)
initiatives. - Contribute to key culture related events e.g. Town Hall, social
activities and with employee engagement initiatives (e.g. surveys, focus
groups). - Coordinate and support delivery of in house and external training
programs. - Support the internal development planning process.
- Administer people related information and processes.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of organisational
policies and procedures. - Champion Betfair Connect and any other P&C systems.
- Undertake any P&C related projects aligned to you as required.
- Provide support to employees regarding their P&C and
facilities related requests. - Manage the maintenance, cleanliness, and appearance of the
Melbourne office. - Maintain and manage key facilities vendor relationships.
- Maintain appropriate level of consumables & office supplies
throughout the year, adjusting as required, and ensuring costs are within
budget. - Coordinate general facilities health and safety obligations,
including evacuation and warden processes. - Coordinate the office visitor process.
- Manage Betfair's Business Continuity Office.
- Provide support as required for the facility upkeep of the Darwin
office. - Collection and distribution of mail; managing incoming and
outgoing freight and logistics (excluding Tech freight and logistics). - Manage and keep up to date relevant intranet pages, including
