Lead Educator

'Little Sprouts Early Learning Centre' -

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Lead Educator in our Beehive room at our Camp Flat Road Centre. Our Beehive room has children from 2 - 3 years of age. It is a full-time position (9 day fortnight). The Beehive room has a strong support team with many years of professional experience. We require a Diploma qualified person experienced to fill the role and join our friendly, positive, professional Educators.

***We also require a Float person (9 days per fortnight) who will ideally hold a Certificate III in Children's Services or be willing to sign up for a Traineeship. We also require a casual pool of Educators who hold a Certificate III in Children's Services or be willing to sign up for a Traineeship.***

We endeavour to create nurturing spaces where children have the opportunity to explore, grow, learn and play. So, you and your team will create a safe, engaging and supportive play-based learning environment for children, their families and the wider community.

The successful candidate will be receiving the ECEC workers retention grant so, Educators will be paid above award plus the 10% industry pay rise. Renumeration will be approximately $34-$36 p/h depending on qualifications and experience.

The Centre is purpose built, family owned, outstandingly resourced, set in beautiful surrounds and located in the Parklakes Estate, Bli Bli, Sunshine Coast, QLD.  We have weekly Bush Kindy programs in the Centre. There is the opportunity to use our 6-seater toddler pram to explore the local community

The Educator's We Seek -

'Little Sprouts' is seeking a Diploma qualified Lead Educator (or almost completed their Diploma) who is experienced working with 2 -3 year olds and passionate about early childhood education. We endeavour to offer the best education and care for our children at 'Little Sprouts'. We seek a Lead Educator who has a sense of curiosity, fun and a great work ethic

The Ideal Candidates Will Hold -

• Diploma of Children's Services (or almost completed their Diploma)
• strong knowledge and understanding of EYLF and NQS
• hold a current Paid Blue Card
• Child Protection Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates (or willingness to obtain)
