Apprentice Carpenter Wanted for High End Residential Builds in the Sydney Eastern Suburbs Region

Darlinghurst, New South Wales, Australia Cumberland Building Pty Ltd Full time $45,000 - $65,000 per year

Job Summary

We are a high-end residential building company based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Carpenter to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on architecturally designed, luxury homes and develop your skills under the guidance of experienced and highly skilled tradespeople.

As an apprentice, you'll gain hands-on experience in all aspects of residential construction — from framing and detailed fit-off work to assisting with site setup and learning the finer points of craftsmanship that define high-end building. You'll be part of a supportive team that values quality, precision, and continuous learning.

We're looking for someone who's driven, punctual, and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in the carpentry trade. You'll be working closely with qualified carpenters and site managers who will help you develop your skills and grow into a confident and capable tradesperson.

To be successful in this role, you must hold a valid Australian driver's licence and a current Construction White Card. Previous site experience or a pre-apprenticeship course is beneficial but not essential — attitude and willingness to learn matter most.

In return, you'll receive competitive apprentice wages, ongoing training, and the chance to work on prestigious residential projects in a positive, well-organised environment.

If you're ready to kickstart your carpentry career and take pride in creating some of Sydney's most beautiful homes, we'd love to hear from you.
