About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated HE Academic Scholarship and Quality Support Officer to join our Academic Quality team. This role supports the delivery of high-standard scholarship services within the Educational Excellence Directorate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage scholarship, research, and applied research outputs
  • Provide advice on scholarship as a regulatory requirement
  • Lead implementation of Melbourne Polytechnic's Scholarship Framework review recommendations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on scholarship and applied research projects
  • Support quality assurance activities for TEQSA and professional accreditation
  • Prepare and analyse reports for governance, audits, and accreditation
  • Undertake benchmarking and quality assurance assessments
  • Promote a culture of scholarship and applied research across Higher Education
Skills and Experience Required
  • Postgraduate qualification (AQF 8+) in Education or related field, with progress toward PhD preferred
  • Experience in tertiary learning and teaching, applied research, scholarship, compliance, and quality
  • Strong knowledge of TEQSA and Higher Education Standards Framework
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse scholarship data and prepare reports
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
