About the role

We are looking for a skilled Docking Saw Operator to join our growing team at Duce Timber Windows & Doors in Bundamba, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will see you working on our timber docking saws, cutting materials to precise specifications to support our production of high-quality windows and doors. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

  1. Operating docking saws to cut timber and other materials to required sizes and specifications
  2. Measure and mark materials to ensure accurate cuts
  3. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to keep it running safely and efficiently
  4. Work closely with other production staff to ensure a smooth and coordinated workflow
  5. Adhere to all health, safety and quality standards to maintain a safe working environment

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience operating docking saws or similar machinery in a manufacturing environment
  2. Strong attention to detail and ability to work to precise measurements
  3. Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  4. Commitment to workplace safety and quality
  5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  6. Physical fitness to perform the duties of the role
