Bring your passion for student wellbeing to the Mackay region, where we are seeking a Social Worker to support schools across our vibrant and diverse communities. No two days will be the same as you travel throughout the
region, building strong connections and creating positive outcomes for young people.

Your base school will be confirmed once you join our team.

This is a progressional position as per the Role Description. The successful applicant will be appointed to the lower classification with eligibility for progression to the next, once specific criteria have been met or demonstrated. Please note salary rate shown is reflective of both classification ranges.

Why this Role?

The Student Wellbeing Workforce aims to ensure every Queensland primary and secondary state school student has access to a wellbeing professional at school. The focus of the role is to provide support for students with mild to moderate mental health concerns. Wellbeing professionals employed through the Student Wellbeing Workforce program work as part of schools' established student support teams to enhance the wellbeing and mental health support available to students.
