About Us

We are a locally owned and operated manufacturing business based in Carrum Downs. We specialise in producing custom steel components for a variety of industrial applications. We are a small team, focused on delivering quality work for customers across Australia.

About the Role

We are hiring one full-time Factory Hand to join our team. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving repetitive tasks using a hydraulic press to manufacture custom steel components in varying combinations. The role also includes packing, loading trucks, and general factory work. This job would suit someone who is comfortable with heavy lifting, being on their feet all day, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties

  • Operate a manual hydraulic press
  • Change press dies as required
  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift
  • Pack and prepare orders for dispatch
  • Assist with general cleaning and factory maintenance
  • Follow all OH&S policies and procedures

  • Quick to learn and able to retain and apply training
  • Comfortable working independently after training
  • Physically fit (repetitive heavy lifting, prolonged standing)
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand/power tools
  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current driver's licence and reliable transport
