About the role
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our Subiaco-based team, supporting a major oil and gas contract with confirmed works through to December. In this critical role, you'll work within our Maintenance team to plan, prepare, and coordinate maintenance activities in line with the IMPACT turnaround management process. You'll ensure work packs are accurate, resources are ready, and schedules are met, contributing directly to the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of maintenance outcomes for our client.
Your day-today responsibilities to include;
- Develop and review maintenance work packs to meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Confirm availability of spares, tooling, equipment, and raise requisitions in CMMS.
- Liaise with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to align work scope.
- Monitor progress, verify against approved schedules, and provide technical support to supervisors.
- Identify and procure long lead items while meeting IMPACT phase readiness milestones.
- Capture and implement lessons learned to drive continual improvement.
About you
- Proven experience in shutdown maintenance within the oil & gas or heavy industrial sector.
- Strong ability to interpret and apply relevant industry codes and standards.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Skilled in Primavera for scheduling and planning tasks.
- Relevant mechanical or electrical trade qualification with a solid understanding of maintenance processes.
