Automotive First Year Apprentices 2026 Intake
John McGrath Auto Group are looking to hire several first-year automotive apprentices for their busy Canberra service departments with an immediate start available for these full-time positions. Applicants should possess the following attributes:
· Good work ethic with a willingness to learn.
· Interest in motor vehicles
· Customer focused
· Highly motivated with a "can do" attitude.
· Be able to work in a team environment and follow instructions.
· Hold a current Australian Driver's license or the ability to obtain one.
In return the successful applicants will receive the following:
· On the job training in our modern workshops working with some of the world's most iconic and leading brands
· Opportunity to work on the latest automotive technology including Hybrid and EV
· All apprentice training fees, books and course materials paid for by John McGrath Auto Group, not out of pocket expenses.
· All uniforms along with Personal Protective Equipment provided.

· Overtime available
· Ongoing in-house and manufacturers training
