Details: Education and Care Regulation and Support (ECRS) Branch is a business unit of the ACT Education Directorate. ECRS comprises Children's Education and Care Assurance (CECA) and Non-Government Education (NGE).
Education and Care Regulation and Support (ECRS) Branch regulates and support over 390 education and care services, over 500 home educated resident children, 47 non-government schools, and four ACT school CRICOS providers.
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to lead an Investigation Team that is responsible for the assessment and investigation of notifications, complaints and concerns under the Education and Care Services National Law Act (ACT), chapter 4 of the Education Act 2004, and chapter 20 of the Children and Young People Act 2008.
The position is a permanent position.
Eligibility/Other Requirements: The ideal candidate will be innovative and creative with high level interpersonal, communication, and IT skills. They will be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills and have a high level of understanding of the legislative requirements relating to the Early Childhood and Non-government School sectors.
The position is open to flexible workplace agreement.
Qualifications in investigations, a relevant discipline or equivalent is highly desirable.
Notes: A merit list will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
