We operate out of a state-of the-art facility in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, with an additional network of sales offices and warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. As a Forklift Operator you are responsible for the movement of goods in and around Stoddart's warehouse. The nature of the work requires exceptional attention to detail and extended periods of concentration to avoid injury to pedestrians and damage to property in a physically complex environment.

More specifically your duties will include the following:

  • Availability for Mon - Thurs 7:30am - 4:00pm and Fri 7:30am - 1:30pm
  • Safely operate a forklift
  • Accurately identify stock on paperwork
  • Accurately store and pick stock
  • Manhandle stock and packaging
  • Conduct stocktakes
  • Record outgoing stock
  • Perform elementary computer tasks

In determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential:

  • Current LF Forklift Licence

  • Prior experience in a similar position working with steel or metal product
