With particular focus on wellbeing, leadership and physical activity, AFL Max utilises lessons from sport and AFL to help inspire healthy habits and provide lifelong learning for all participants.
Digital Marketing Coordinator - 12 Month Contract
Love all things digital? As our Digital Marketing Coordinator, you'll bring campaigns to life that drive awareness, engagement and bookings at AFL Max. From crafting social content to optimising ads and coordinating email campaigns, you'll play a key part in connecting growing AFL Max.
About the Role
The Digital Marketing Coordinator will support the delivery of digital campaigns and content that builds awareness, engagement and bookings at AFL Max. You'll work closely with the Marketing Manager and wider team to execute digital advertising, create and schedule social content and coordinate email campaigns.
This role suits someone with hands-on experience in digital advertising and content creation who loves working in a fast-paced, fun and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Advertising
- Set up, optimise and report on digital advertising campaigns across Meta, Google, YouTube and other platforms as required.
- Monitor performance ensure campaigns meet targets for awareness, traffic and conversions.
- Support creative development by recommending formats, messaging and audience strategies.
Social Media
- Create and schedule engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Shoot and edit short-form videos and imagery as needed.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages where required and identify opportunities for community growth.
- Maintain a consistent tone of voice and ensure content aligns with AFL Max's brand.
Email Marketing
- Build and schedule email campaigns using our email platform (e.g., Klaviyo).
- Maintain database hygiene and support customer lifecycle communications.
Time Commitment
- Full time 12 month contract based in Melbourne
About you
You're a proactive and digitally-minded marketer who's confident working hands-on with digital tools and platforms. You thrive in a high-energy environment and love combining creativity with data-driven decision making.
You Will Bring:
- 1–3 years' experience in digital marketing, ideally including hands-on digital ad setup (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, etc.).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content trends.
- Basic skills in design or video editing (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite preferred but not essential).
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
