As we continue to grow and support some of Australia's most impactful projects, we're expanding our marketing and content capabilities. We're looking for a creative, proactive Marketing Specialist / Content Creator to help us tell our stories, amplify impact, and engage our growing community.

The Role

This is a hands-on, hybrid role that blends content creation, marketing execution, and community engagement. You'll work across a range of projects, from social media and brand campaigns to events and partner communications. What matters most is your ability to communicate across cultures, understand younger audiences, and create content that feels authentic, engaging, and relevant.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Create high-quality photo and video content for LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms
  • Handle filming, editing, scripting, storyboarding, and creative concept development
  • Produce marketing assets for brand collaborations, campaigns, and events

Marketing Execution

  • Support the development and rollout of marketing strategies and content calendars
  • Coordinate brand partnerships and assist with client-facing communications
  • Help maintain and update website content and brand assets

Events & Community Engagement

  • Assist with planning and delivering online and in-person events
  • Support logistics, scheduling, and on-site coordination to ensure smooth execution
  • Engage with diverse community groups

Platform & Audience Growth

  • Contribute creative ideas to grow social channels and increase engagement
  • Track digital trends, insights, and performance to guide content direction
  • Support data-driven improvements to content and campaigns

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, Psychology, or a related field
  • Strong content production skills, including video editing and photography
  • Experience working with youth communities or international student groups (particularly Chinese international students) is a plus, but not essential
  • Solid understanding of social media platforms and content trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages welcome)
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A creative mindset, strong attention to detail, and willingness to experiment and learn

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience using filming and photography equipment
  • Website CMS experience
  • Scriptwriting or directing experience
  • Basic graphic design skills
  • Australian driver's licence
