The Company

Our client is a global electronics manufacturer, spanning freight, transit, mining, industrial and marine. They are looking for experienced electronic assemblers to join their growing team.

Their team prides themselves on safety, innovation and teamwork. 

Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings and assembly instructions
  • Soldering of components weighing 15Kg
  • Preparing product components to be assembled and quality-tested
  • Inspecting sub-assemblies for workmanship and compliance with documentation
  • Ensuring work tools are in good condition
  • Keeping work area organised, clean, efficient, and productive
  • Ability to work with other assembly personnel in a cooperative, team manner

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Solid experience in electronics manufacturing
  • Proven soldering skills
  • Be physically fit for some heavy lifting
  • Excellent hand dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Basic hand and power tool experience
  • The ability to work quickly and accurately
  • A willingness to learn

Hours and Rates

Day shift: Monday to Thursday - 7am till 345pm, Friday - 7am till 12pm

Pay rate: $35.14 per hour + super
