About the role

Activus Transport is looking for a full-time Driver to join our team, operating buses, small vans and cars from our Engadine, depot. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering safe, reliable, and caring transport services to our clients, with a focus on supporting older people and those living with disability.

What you'll be doing

  • Safely operate Activus vehicles to transport clients to and from their destinations
  • Assist clients with boarding and alighting the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing
  • Provide a courteous and professional service to all clients
  • Maintain accurate records of journeys and client interactions
  • Adhere to all relevant safety, compliance and company policies
  • Participate in regular vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of assigned vehicles

What we're looking for

  • Applicants must hold a current LR, MR or HR driver's licence (please do not apply if you don't have one)
  • Strong customer service skills and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable members of the community
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in time management and the ability to work efficiently
  • A commitment to safety and a demonstrated understanding of relevant regulations and policies
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the aged or disability support sectors - Desirable
  • ** Casual Driving Positions also available **
