Requirements for this role:

  • This is seasonal work in line with the Brisbane International Cruiser Terminal schedule. November to May is 4- 5 days per week, usually Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday with an odd day through the week
  • Expected salary: $33 - $55 per hour
  • Must posses a current Qld Drivers Accreditation (DA)
  • Must possess a minimum of LR licence
  • Able to drive a bus towing a luggage trailer

If you answered yes to these questions then we would like to speak with you. East Coast Parking is looking for individuals who can exceed our guests customer service expectations, while transporting them to and from the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for operating an assigned shuttle bus on a designated transportation route, only within a 1.5km radius
  • Further responsible for the safe transportation, loading, and unloading of passengers, and luggage
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with passengers, co-workers, shift supervisors, managers, etc.
  • Comply with all safety, security, compliance and safety standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
  • Transporting passengers to and from designated pick-up and drop-off locations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests and respond to guest inquiries in a courteous manner.
  • Immediately report any incidents or claims to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
  • Refuel and maintain shuttle equipment.
  • Always maintain a clean work environment.
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a current Drivers Authority from Qld Transport
  • Clear criminal history
  • Must possess strong interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Have ability to take directions and be able to work under stressful situations.
  • Must be flexible with schedule and be able to work evenings, days, holidays and weekends.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and have desire to work with other people in a team environment.
