Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate graphic administrator to join our funeral administration team. This role will support and work alongside our exisiting graphic designer, by creating thoughtful and professional visual content that helps commemorate and celebrate the lives of those we serve. The position offers flexible hours, making it ideal for students or anyone looking for part-time work in a creative field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing print and digital materials such as funeral booklets, memorial cards, photo presentations, and social media graphics.
  • Collaborate with the existing graphic designer to maintain brand consistency and quality standards
  • Adapt and customise templates to meet individual client needs with sensitivity and care
  • Support the production process by preparing files for print and digital delivery
  • Participate in training sessions and development opportunities to enhance design skills and specific industry knowledge
  • Manage multiple projects efficiently while respectfully adhering to deadlines and client specifications

Skills and Qualifications

  • Medium-level proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Basic understanding of design principles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitivity in a funeral services context
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Previous experience or coursework in graphic design is preferred but not mandatory
