About the role
This full-time Landscape Garden Manager role with Perennial Landscaping Group based in Elwood, VIC offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the maintenance and development of the company's diverse portfolio of landscaped gardens. You will be responsible for leading a team of skilled gardeners and ensure other jobs are delivered to the highest standard.
What you'll be doing
- Managing a team of gardeners and landscapers to deliver exceptional grounds maintenance and garden development services
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of clients' landscaped gardens
- Overseeing the planning, scheduling and execution of all gardening and landscaping activities
- Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
- Monitoring scheduling and controlling costs of materials to maximize profitability
- Liaising with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored, high-quality solutions
- Identifying opportunities for business growth and contributing to the company's long-term strategic vision
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience (2+ years) in a senior gardening or landscaping management role
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
- Exceptional knowledge of horticulture, landscaping techniques and best practices
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and identify growth opportunities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients
- Relevant qualifications in horticulture, landscape design or a related field
- Proficiency in the use of gardening and landscaping equipment and tools
