ABOUT THE POSITION:

Join the St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside (SVPHN) Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program in February 2026, with exciting opportunities to work within an acute hospital environment. We offer the following specialties: Urology, Orthopaedics, Neurology, Oncology/Haematology, Palliative Care, General Medical & Surgical, Gastrointestinal, Colorectal & Bariatric Surgical, Medical Cardiology, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgical.

Our Graduate Enrolled Nurse Program commences February 2026 with completion in February 2027 offering a 52-week, fixed term, 0.84 FTE position.

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse prior to program commencement
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Well-developed skills in delivering compassionate, patient-centred care
  • Recent clinical placement experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Flexibility to work rostered shifts across a 7-day week, including night shifts after the first 3 months of the program

REMUNERATION:

The position of Graduate Enrolled Nurse, in addition to our competitive salary packaging options, is a Level 1, Year 1, with a base remuneration of $39.98 hourly + superannuation + shift penalties + allowances.
