Plant Operator

  • Yarwun, QLD – work locally on a major tailings dam project near Gladstone
  • 12-month opportunity with consistent full-time hours (Mon–Thurs 12hrs, Fri 8hrs)

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Moxy/Compactor Operators for a tailings dam project based in Yarwun, near Gladstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a compactor safely and efficiently while contributing to the successful completion of earthworks on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate compactor equipment safely and efficiently on a tailings dam project
  • Complete daily pre-starts and ensure equipment is maintained to standard
  • Follow site safety procedures and environmental controls
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets
  • Adhere to all company and site policies, ensuring a safe work environment

Skills and Experience Required

  • Minimum 12 months' experience operating Moxy's/Compactors
  • Current RII qualification for  Moxy and/or compactor operation
  • C Class driver's licence and White Card
  • Strong safety focus and commitment to safe work practices
  • Ability to pass a 3-site medical and meet site access requirements
