Café Supervisor – Make a Difference Every Day

Location: Chermside - The Prince Charles Hospital

Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week | No nights past 7:00pm | Rotating weekend shifts

We're on the lookout for a Café Supervisor to help lead the day-to-day operations of one of our bustling Northside cafés. If you're passionate about hospitality, thrive in a busy environment, and love creating a great customer experience, we'd love to meet you.

What you'll do:

  • Lead shifts and keep service running smoothly with a smile.
  • Support and train staff to deliver friendly, prompt, and professional service.
  • Oversee stock control and rotation of deliveries.
  • Manage daily rosters and ensure the café is well-staffed in line with shift positioning.
  • Open and close the café with confidence.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.
  • Handle customer feedback with care and professionalism.
  • Work closely with the Café Manager to meet sales and cost targets.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to help our cafés thrive.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience leading a team in a busy café or hospitality setting.
  • Minimum 1 year of team leadership experience in hospitality is required.
  • Ability to stay calm and organised under pressure.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and great people skills.
  • Current Food Safety Certification (highly regarded).
  • Barista skills or training (highly regarded).
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
